WINDOWS OF MY MIND
Diptych - 48x48 inches and 48x24 inches
Mixed media on gallery wrapped canvas
This painting evolved from my Mother Road Series. All artists paint from the subconscious. I think that each window signifies an event in my life, or, perhaps, a person.

THANK YOU!
“This painting means a lot to me. In 1938, my father, mother and I left a dust-bowl farm near Cordell, Oklahoma and headed for California on the new Route 66. John Steinbeck called Route 66 “the Mother Road” of the country.
I consider my MOTHER ROAD SERIES of paintings an homage to my father, mother, grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, who left the failing farms in Oklahoma and headed for a new life.”
